When Anthem decided to launch IngenioRx as a new pharmacy benefit manager (PBM), we wanted to create something totally new. By taking a step back, we’re able to see how pharmacy care can affect total health care costs. We can help realign a fragmented and confusing system to provide members with a much-simplified experience. Of course, we’re about managing cost. But we’re also about something much bigger: managing clinical outcomes.

Meet The Team

Deepti Jain

President, IngenioRx

As President of IngenioRx, Deepti oversees all aspects of the pharmacy business. She along with her team are passionate about whole person health and are focused on bringing innovative solutions to market that truly make a difference to the health of the members we serve. Deepti has more than 25 years of health care experience, including 20 years in PBM leadership positions. She has been part of the Anthem family since 2014.

Beverly Brown

Human Resources Lead

As the human resources lead for IngenioRx, Beverly leads IngenioRx's human capital strategy. In her current role, she leads a team of human resources business partners who collaborate with business leaders to apply the principles and practices of human resource management to contribute to the success of the business.

Andy Brynes

Chief Financial Officer

As Chief Financial Officer, Andy is responsible for planning, implementing, managing and controlling all financial activities of IngenioRx, ensuring they meet and exceed financial commitments based on sound financial strategy and long-term planning.

Chris Burns

Chief Marketing Officer

As Chief Marketing Officer, Chris is responsible for all marketing and communications activities for IngenioRx. Chris has more than 20 years of experience in brand strategy, marketing leadership and customer experience design and his work across a diverse set of industries, ranging from healthcare to hospitality, brings extensive insight and unique perspective to the team.

Darren Gettings, RPh

Vice President, Retail Network Strategy

As Vice President of Retail Network Strategy, Darren leads the management of our pharmacy networks. He has more than 20 years of experience in managed care contracting and has held leadership positions at Walgreens, Medco Health Solutions and Express Scripts.

Nancy Gilbride

Chief Sales Officer

As the Chief Sales Officer for IngenioRx, Nancy is responsible for the development and execution of IngenioRx's strategic goals across all market segments. She comes to IngenioRx as an experienced healthcare leader with 27 years in the industry, including 24 years in the Pharmacy Benefits Management (PBM) sector.

Colleen Haines, RPh

Chief Clinical Officer

As the Chief Clinical Officer for IngenioRx, Colleen heads up all clinical quality and cost of care strategies and programs. Her role includes overseeing specialty pharmacy and formulary management. Colleen joined Anthem in 1998 and has 25 years of experience in the pharmacy industry.

Christine Higgins

Vice President, Pricing and Analytics

As the Vice President of Pricing and Analytics, Christine leads IngenioRx's pricing strategies, cost of care savings, pharmacy trend management and analytic strategies. She joined IngenioRx in February, 2018 where she led the IngenioRx business launch, driving the cross-functional coordination of key program deliverables to establish our new Pharmacy Benefit Manager.

Alex Krikorian, RPh

Vice President, Pharma Strategy and Contracting

As the lead for pharma strategy and contracting, Alex manages our relationships with pharmaceutical manufacturers. Alex has over 30 years of experience in health care and pharmacy benefits.

Michele Mucci

Chief Legal Officer

As our Chief Legal Officer, Michele is responsible for leading all IngenioRx legal and regulatory activities. She joined Anthem's legal team in 2015 and has more than 20 years of experience at Fortune 500 companies in the healthcare and PBM industries, including at Medco Health Solutions and Express Scripts.

Justin Petronzi

Chief Growth Officer

As IngenioRx's Chief Growth Officer, Justin oversees strategy, partnerships, business development, M&A, and product development/management. He joined Anthem's finance team in 2014 and has nearly 15 years of experience in the PBM industry, including leadership roles at Truveris and Medco Health Solutions.
